Root Cause Analysis
Our team found: dragging rollers came from a tight 0.8mm gap between the ball and bottle neck; uneven glass color stemmed from imprecise cobalt oxide dosing during production; smudged logos resulted from using water-based ink (not durable enough for frequent handling) on the cap’s textured surface.
Our Solution
To fix the roller on bottle, we widened the neck gap to 1.2mm and polished roller balls for smooth gliding, testing 25 samples. We calibrated pigment dispensers to ensure uniform amber tint (blocking 99% UV). We switched to solvent-based, scratch-resistant ink for logos and added a UV cure step to lock in the design.
