Challenges

The engraved perfume bottle seemed easy, the precise challenge maintained the depth of certain carvings – very shallow and the design looked blurry, and it risked to weaken the structural integrity of the bottle. In addition, imitating micro-text or complex flower patterns on a curved glass surface demanded an exceptional level of accuracy and clarity that traditional engraving often failed to achieve.

Cause Analysis

Our technical team conducted a depthal analysis and identified the original issues: so: the uneven surface of the perfume-grade glass and the inconsistent laser energy disintegration during micro-engraving. Due to these factors, the depth of the engraving and the line clarity have varied. To solve this, we run multiple process simulation, adjusted laser pulse frequency and purify the carving speed-to-power ratio. To overcome these challenges, we implemented several major steps:

Optim Ptimized Laser Calibration – Adjusted laser dimensions to ensure the depth of constant engraving in all bottles.
The precision of improved engraving by purifying the glass surface before pre-polishing and surface uniformity control processes.
Ultra-Fine Laser Heads were adopted to achieve sharp lines for micro-patorn resolution growth-micro-text design.
Integrated OPT Pattical Inspection to detect the inconsistencies of real-time vision inspection system-compulsion.
