Our challenges
Prototypes revealed three issues. The amber glass had a greenish tint in some batches, compromising UV protection consistency. The dropper often dispensed uneven amounts (0.3–0.7ml), risking product waste. Additionally, the embossed logo on the cap was faint, lacking the brand’s desired visibility. These flaws threatened to undermine product efficacy and brand recognition.
Root Cause Analysis
Our team traced the issues: inconsistent amber pigment mixing caused the greenish tint. The dropper’s rubber bulb was too soft, leading to variable pressure. The logo was faint due to shallow mold engraving, which didn’t transfer clearly to the cap material. All were fixable with production adjustments.
Our solution
To standardize the amber hue, we calibrated pigment dosing machines for precise color consistency. For the dropper, we switched to a firmer rubber bulb and added a silicone valve to regulate flow to 0.5ml. We deepened the cap mold’s engraving by 0.2mm and tested 30 samples to ensure the logo was crisp.

The final amber dropper bottles met all specs: uniform amber glass, consistent 0.5ml doses, and a sharp logo. We delivered 10,000 units on schedule.
