In the process of customizing glass perfume bottles, there were two major challenges of the project:

Complex Bottles Shape Bottles and Accuracy of Mold: The client demanded rare shapes of bottles possessing beautiful curves and specific symmetry. Even minor distortions may affect how aesthetics, fill lines or aligning a spray mechanism. The key issue was to have the dimensional accuracy and glass integrity and to make the glass visually appealing.
Branding Consistency, Color, and Finish: The customer requested tinted and frost glass finishes, and embossed logos on the bottles. To ensure consistent color, smooth finishes, and crisp branding of the products, it was important to monitor raw material carefully and ensure that the production parameters are well-regulated particularly where it comes to repeat orders.

Altered mold designs and manufacturing to make the regular bottle shapes and a high degree of spray control.
Carried out several experiments in order to obtain similar color, finish and logo embossing on all batches.

How We Did It

Pre-Production Planning (Solution Development): We conducted thorough consultations to know the vision of the brand, the bottle capacity, how the bottles would be filled and how they were going to be decorated. There was a recommendation on the type of glass, shapes of moulds and choice of finishes.
Iterative Feedback and Sample Production: Prototypes were made and forwarded to the wholesaler. The alterations were made depending on the feedback of the shape, spray mechanism fit, and quality of finish to be finalized.
Cost Reduction and Standardization: When approved, the batches of production were measured in terms of cost-efficiency and high quality so that they could be delivered in time without generating too much waste.
